In the USA Google has successfully launched a product known as “Google Hotel Ads” which helps advertisers generate more qualified leads and bookings while helping travelers find the right hotel for them.
Google has announced that they are expanding this offering, allowing for the inclusion of more amenity information within Google search such as free WiFi, free breakfast, parking availability or a swimming pool. This comes at the expense of the “Hotel finder” Google product which will be retired.

Book On Google
In 2013 Book on Google was launched on mobile devices to make it easier for users to book hotel rooms directly from their phone. Book on Google’s availability is now being expanded to desktop and tablet devices. With Book on Google, Google only facilitates the booking payment transaction, leaving the hotel owner responsible for the guest relationship, such as ending confirmation answering questions and handling changes to the reservation or cancellations.
Google Hotel Ads Commission Program
The commission program was launched earlier in the year to a small amount of independent Hotels, charging at an industry-standard per booking commission basis as opposed to the standard “cost per click” model. The program is now being expanded to more hotels
